HIPPOCRATIC OPHTHALMOLOGY

100 years ago, Julius Hirschberg put together and commented the widely dispersed texts from the Hippocratic writings, in which the structure of the eyes or ocular diseases are mentioned. The present author wants to recall these texts to our attention and to consider them in connection with the Hippocratics' general medical concepts.
