A "double lens syndrom" in a patient with Marfan Syndrome and secondary glaucoma

Luxated lenses and open angle glaucoma is a common finding in patients with Marfan Syndrome. The presented video showes a 52 years old female patient with Marfan Syndrome, which suffered in her last eye on a secondary glaucoma. After persisting decompensation of intraocular pressure a vitrectomy with lens removal of the subluxated lens was planed. During the removal of the subluxated lens surprisingly a "secound lens" was discovered. The video will demonstrate the removal of both lenses and will provide the explanation for the "double lens sydrome".
