Der Kurs vermittelt in enger zeitlicher Bindung zwischen theoretischem und praktischem Teil OP-Techniken in speziellen Situationen der Phakoemulsifaktion und IOL-Implantation. Wichtigste Themen sind: Einsatz hochvisköser Viskoelastica bei sehr flacher Vorderkammer zur Unterstützung der Kapsulorhexis bei fehlendem Fundusrot unter Vision Blue, neue Kernaufarbeitungsmethoden mit High-tech-Phakosystemen, Implantation flexibler VK-IOL Sklerafixation mit verschiedenen Naht-und Implantationstechniken, Kapselspannring bei Zonulaverlust, Iris- und Linsenkolobom, Zustand nach Verletzung.

In the short time allowed, the course will detail surgical techniques in theory and practice dealing with the problem of phaco emulsification and IOL implantation. The most important topics are the implementation of high viscosity, visteolastics by a very flat anterior section, in order to support the capsulorhexis by the absence of fundus red under vision blue; new nuclei processing methods with high-tech phaco systems; the implantation of flexible VK-IOL sclerafixation using different sutures and implantation techniques; the use of the capsule tension rings by zonal impairment; and the condition of the lens colobom, after injury.
