Multifocal, Unilateral Retinoblastoma in 3-year-old Child - a Spontaneous Regression?
1Gotz-Wieckowska A., 1Kociecki J., 2Krawczynski M. R.,
We present the case of 3-year-old boy with spontaneous regression of presumed multifocal, unilateral retinoblastoma. The diagnosis was made on the basis of clinical image as well as USG, MR, laboratory and genetic evaluation. The parents of the boy were examined as well. The tumor resolved spontaneously, without any treatment and during 2-years follow-up no recurrence was stated. All data that were taken are suggesting the presence of retinoblastoma, however we realize, that only the result of histopathological examination could be the final prove of this diagnosis.
