We furthermore enable ophthalmologists undergoing training to visit suitable projects as observers. The contract period for long-term assignments generally varies between two and four years. The qualification of ophthalmologists for short-term assignments should include third-world experience and the willingness to fill in vacancies and / or periods of leave, or to step into the breach at one of our hospitals where higher work load arises. Remuneration and all other expenses will be covered by CBM. The period of such a short-term assignment varies between at least four
