Measurement of Rotation and Decentration of a Toric IOL

Treatment of refractive errors with implantation of intraocular lenses lead to an improvment of life quality. Toric IOL´s are used for treatment of astigmatism. Therefore the IOL has got to be centered and stable for rotation n the capsular bag.
In this video we show the implantation of the toric IOL MS 6116TU with Z-haptics and a method for measuring rotation and decentration. We used retroillumination photographs and the image analysis program Adobe Photoshopâ.
Here the implanted IOL´s showed a good centration and a stable fixation in the capsular bag.
