Tissue Therapy According to V. P. Filatov: 70 Years Ago and Today

The method of Tissue Therapy was developed by V. P. Filatov 70 years ago. He wrote in his book My path in science: I consider tissue therapy to be my greatest achievement that I initiated in 1993. Tissue therapy owes its inception to our experience in cornea transplantation. He has proposed the tissue therapy a hypothesis or a doctrine of biogenic stimulators in 1942. In modern medicine, the tissue therapy is applied in 2 directions: for prophylaxis and for treatment with combination of specific drugs. Tissue therapy drugs are widely used not only in eye diseases, but also in tuberculosis of lungs, gynecological diseases, pediatrics, against early aging (in combination with specific drugs) and in veterinary sciences. Since the last few years tissue therapy drugs are produced: Torphote, Peloidodistillate, Extract of placenta, Extractum Aloes fluidum, Tabulettae Aloes obductae, Corpus vitreum, FiBS. About 300 millions of ampoules of tissue therapy drugs were released in the former USSR in 1983.
