Leonhard-Klein-Award
Leonhard Klein-Foundation in the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft
To promote ophthalmic surgery the Leonhard Klein-Foundation bestows the Leonhard Klein-Award 2007 for innovative, scientific works in the field of development and application of microsurgical instruments as well as for microsurgical operating techniques.
The award is endowed with 15.000 Euro
and can be conferred to an individual person as well as to a group of researchers. As an exception, it can be awarded to two individuals in equal shares. The prize sum must be spent for research in the field of ophthalmic surgery.
A Board of Trustees, which is appointed by the Executive Board of the „Deutsche Ophthalmologist Gesellschaft“, decides on the bestowal of the award.
Legal steps against the decision of the Board of Trustees are not possible.
The Board of Trustees is asking for proposals of appropriate candidates.
Individual applications are not accepted.
The works have to be submitted in English or German. Please send five copies including
the following documents:
Curriculum vitae, short abstract of your scientific work. list of publications concerning the theme of the presented work, selected publications to:
