Basic Ophthalmology Course of the DOG (Course in German language)
The DOG Basic Ophthalmology Course is a two-year course for a limited number of participants.
It is aimed at ophthalmologists in further training to become specialists. Proven experts impart sound and clinically relevant knowledge about diagnoses and therapies in ophthalmology. The basic course also includes the knowledge required for the specialist examination.
The course is divided into two parts. Part I takes place every two years in Munich, Part II in the following year at Venice International University, San Servolo, Italy. Each course part lasts 14 days, lessons taking place Monday-Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. The language of instruction is German.
Course part I is primarily aimed at residents in their 1st-3rd year of training, course part II at residents in their 4th-5th year of training.
